The Mandan Public School District announced that students from Mandan High School's Career and Technical Education (CTE) program participated in the 2025 State SkillsUSA conference, earning multiple awards, including several state championships. The announcement was made via a Facebook post on April 16, 2025.

According to the school district, Mandan High School champions included Trinity Anderson, Rylan Dillmann, and Case Roethlisberger in Welding Fabrication; Krew Monzeleski, Austin Bay, Kole Meyer, and Kaden Ritz in Teamworks; Daniel Harstad in Computer Programming; and Kaden Lobeck in Introduction to Welding. Logan Dutenhafer, Casper Holkup, and Ty Weiler earned second place in Welding Fabrication. Brayden Krous and Anthony Porter placed second and third, respectively, in Introduction to Welding. The school's advisors expressed pride in the students' success and representation of the welding, construction, and computer science programs. Qualifying individuals and teams will compete in Atlanta, Georgia, in June.

It represents over 413,000 career and technical education students and educators across middle schools, high schools, and postsecondary institutions nationwide. Its mission is delivered through the SkillsUSA Framework focusing on personal, workplace, and technical skills integrated into classroom curricula.

Mandan High School is located at 2335 4th Ave NW in Mandan, North Dakota. It is led by Principal Mark Andresen with Assistant Principals Aaron Koenig and Alyssa Caya alongside Activities Director Mark Weist. The school admits students who have completed eighth grade with recommendations from their previous school. Transfer students must provide a satisfactory transcript along with a North Dakota Department of Health Certificate of Immunization. New students are required to present proof of identification through student records or a certified birth certificate.

The mission of Mandan Public Schools is to provide rigorous and personalized learning experiences while helping students develop social and emotional skills for success. The Mandan School Board consists of nine members serving as the policy-making body for the district with authority only during formally called meetings. The Board sets policies, approves budgets, establishes goals manages property, and links the district with the public.
