The Cass County Highway Department is preparing for multiple road and bridge projects in 2025. Residents are encouraged to visit casscountynd.gov/construction for detailed information about each project, including maps, timelines, and updates on road closures and detours.
The projects planned for the 2025 season are as follows:
County Road 10 will undergo regrading and bridge replacement to enhance roadway elevation and durability. Milling and asphalt overlay will occur on County Road 26, both between State Highway 18 and County Road 5 and between State Highway 32 and State Highway 38, to address surface quality and wear.
County Road 16 is set for asphalt resurfacing to prolong pavement life and improve driving conditions. County Road 34 will see grading, subgrade repair, and surfacing work to stabilize the roadway.
Culvert lining projects on County Roads 10, 16, and 81 aim to extend the drainage infrastructure's lifespan and enhance water flow. Additionally, five box culverts will be replaced throughout the county to improve drainage and prevent future road washouts.
