Dickinson State University (DSU) acknowledges Ann Wittkopp, Dean of the School of Professional Studies, for receiving the North Dakota Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ND ESGR) Patriot Award. This accolade highlights exceptional support for National Guard and Reserve members in the workplace.

TJ Dempsey, an assistant professor of psychology and Specialist in the North Dakota Army National Guard, nominated Wittkopp for her steadfast support of his military service. Wittkopp has accommodated early departures for military entrance processing and provided flexibility and assistance with work responsibilities, demonstrating a strong commitment to ensuring Dempsey could meet both his military and professional obligations.
