City of Dickinson seeks public input on 5th Street Southeast improvements

The City of Dickinson is organizing a public meeting to gather input on proposed improvements to 5th Street Southeast. The meeting is set for April 7, between 4 to 6 p.m. MT at City Hall, located at 38 1st St. W, Dickinson, ND, and will be conducted in an open house format.

The proposed project involves a mill and overlay process from South Main Avenue to east of Highlands Avenue, and the construction of a new urban roadway extending to 6th Avenue Southeast. Officials from the City of Dickinson and Highlands Engineering will be available to answer questions and discuss public concerns.

For those who cannot attend, a pre-recorded presentation, along with supporting materials, can be accessed on the City of Dickinson’s official website at www.dickinsongov.com. Public input can also be submitted in writing by April 22, with the subject line or heading “Public Input Meeting - PCN 24205”. Comments can be directed to Andrew Schrank of Highlands Engineering at 319 24th St. E, Dickinson, ND 58601 or via email at schrank@highlandseng.com.

The city has stated it will accommodate reasonable requests for accessibility or other needs for individuals with disabilities. Furthermore, language interpretation and translation services will be provided upon request during the meeting.
