Judge James Boasberg from the United States District Court in the District of Columbia has dismissed the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe's latest case aiming to cease operations of the Dakota Access Pipeline. The decision was in response to a motion filed by the state of North Dakota.

After the court's ruling, Senator Kevin Cramer from North Dakota commented on the outcome, expressing his support. "Even Judge Boasberg could barely make sense of the latest spaghetti against the wall lawsuit seeking a shutdown of a vital part of our nation’s energy backbone. Today’s dismissal is a win for rationality and sanity. Thank you to the state of North Dakota and Energy Transfer, who have fought for years to put an end to this legal nonsense."

The lawsuit intended to halt a crucial segment of the nation's energy infrastructure has been dismissed following lengthy legal battles. The Memorandum Opinion detailing the decision is available for review.
