Starting April 1, 2025, 19th Street Southeast in Mandan will be temporarily closed to facilitate the installation of a new storm sewer system. This is part of the ongoing Memorial Highway Reconstruction project. The closure, which stretches from 43rd Avenue Southeast to 46th Avenue Southeast, is expected to last about three weeks, weather conditions permitting.

During the closure, drivers are advised to use Memorial Highway, 21st Street Southeast, or alternative routes to avoid delays and ensure smooth traffic flow.

After the work on 19th Street is completed, construction will move to 21st Street Southeast, leading to another closure expected to start on April 24 and last approximately one month. Details on this will be provided closer to the date.

Authorities ask motorists to adhere to detour signs and exercise caution near the construction zone as work progresses.
