The City of Bismarck has announced a temporary change in the entrance to its Public Works building. On March 26 and 27, visitors will need to use the northwest door instead of the usual southwest entrance at 601 South 26th Street. This adjustment is necessary due to ongoing building renovations.

The Public Works building hosts several divisions that offer various services across Bismarck. These include Service Operations such as City Building Maintenance, Fleet Services, Forestry, Solid Waste, Street Department, and Street Light and Traffic Signal Maintenance. Additionally, Utility Operations are also housed there, covering areas like Utility Billing, Water Treatment, Water Distribution, Industrial Pretreatment Program, Wastewater Treatment, Sanitary Sewer, and Stormwater Program.
