Tickets are now available for the 2025 Bismarck Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, scheduled for May 20 at the Bismarck Radisson Hotel. Various ticket options are on offer, including single tickets priced at $25, half tables for $250, and full tables for $500. Proceeds from the event will support Crisis Care Chaplaincy (CCC).
Bismarck Mayor Mike Schmitz, who will emcee the event, emphasized the importance of CCC in providing support to first responders and citizens during challenging times. “Crisis Care Chaplaincy provides a crucial need every day in our community for first responders and our citizens,” he stated. “When an individual or group is faced with tragic circumstances, these chaplains help navigate grief and foster healing.”
This year's keynote speaker is Alan Dohrmann, who retired as Adjutant General last October after a military career spanning four decades. Dohrmann has held significant roles such as commanding over 4,100 North Dakota soldiers and airmen and supervising about 1,300 employees. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for the North Dakota Governor’s Office.
CCC Chaplain Greg Carr praised Dohrmann's contributions: “Alan Dohrmann has been an important figure in the stability of Bismarck and North Dakota throughout his career,” Carr said.
Those interested in attending can RSVP by contacting Travis Rau at (701) 355-1894 by May 6 or register online via Eventbrite. The breakfast event will take place from 7:15 to 8:30 AM at Bismarck’s Radisson Hotel located at 605 East Broadway Avenue.
Crisis Care Chaplaincy offers round-the-clock support to first responders and individuals facing personal crises such as illness, injury, or stress. They assist with various critical situations including death notifications and natural disasters.
