The City Forestry Division will undertake tree removal activities on North Washington Street, between Avenue A and Avenue B. This operation is scheduled to commence at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025. During this time, the northbound lane of traffic will be shifted westward, leading to a reduction in both lanes of travel.
According to the city's statement, "Work should be completed by noon." Motorists are advised that no detour will be available during this period. The city has expressed gratitude for public patience during the work: "Your patience is greatly appreciated!"
