The City of Bismarck is preparing to implement spring load restrictions on local streets and alleys as temperatures rise. These restrictions may be enforced in the coming weeks to protect roadbeds from damage due to heavy loads.
Officials advise contractors and truckers to transport heavy loads before these restrictions are enacted. The restrictions will be lifted once roadbeds stabilize and can handle regular traffic.
