Sixteen students participating in the Dual Credit/Early Entry program at Bismarck State College (BSC) have been named to the President's Honor Roll for the Fall 2024 semester. These students were recognized for their academic achievements while still attending high school and being enrolled in 12 or more credits at BSC.

Brent Sanford, Interim President of BSC, stated, "Achievements earned as a BSC Dual Credit student create a strong foundation for future career success by developing knowledge, skills and discipline. The dedication shown today paves the way for new opportunities and equips them to confidently face challenges in their chosen career path."

The Dual Credit/Early Entry program allows high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to take college courses that fulfill high school graduation requirements while also earning college credit. To be eligible for the President's Honor Roll, these students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while being enrolled in at least 12 semester credits at BSC. Students taking this course load are considered full-time.

In Fall 2024, over 1,100 high school students began their college journey through enrollment in Dual Credit/Early Entry classes at BSC. Additional information about the program can be found at bismarckstate.edu/FastTrack.
