Senator John Hoeven announced that the Senate has passed a budget resolution for Fiscal Year 2025. This resolution is intended to lay the groundwork for a reconciliation bill focused on enhancing border security, strengthening military capabilities, and increasing U.S. energy production.
"Passing this budget is an important step as we work to provide President Trump with the resources necessary to implement his agenda for the American people," stated Hoeven. He emphasized that the budget aims to "secure the border, bolster our military and help unleash U.S. energy production to make our country energy dominant."
Hoeven also highlighted ongoing collaboration efforts: "We’ll continue working with our colleagues in the House and the Trump administration to make our nation safer and more prosperous for the American people."
