The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) has announced an amendment to the 2025-2028 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). This amendment proposes the addition of three new projects for the year 2025.

The projects include a pedestrian bridge replacement in Jamestown, estimated at $1,821,069. Another project involves signing on Interstate 94 from Buffalo Gap to Medora, with costs totaling $109,294. Additionally, there is a thin lift overlay planned for North Dakota Highway 18 south of ND 46, projected to cost $6,282,500.

Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to review the current STIP available on the NDDOT website. The document can be accessed by navigating through "Construction & Planning" and "Transportation Plans & Programs," before clicking on the “Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) 2025-28” link.

Feedback regarding these proposed amendments should be submitted by March 7, 2025. Comments can be directed to Michael Wilz at NDDOT’s office in Bismarck or via email with “2025 State Federal-Aid Roadway Projects” as the subject line.
