Bismarck City Offices and the landfill will be closed on Monday, February 17, 2025, in observance of Presidents' Day. As a result, there will be no garbage or curbside recycling collection for the gold route on that day.
The schedule for garbage and recycling collection from Monday through Thursday will be delayed by one day throughout the week. For instance, Monday's route will now be picked up on Tuesday, Tuesday's route on Wednesday, and so forth. Residents are reminded to set out their garbage and recycling by 6:00 a.m. on their adjusted collection day.
Additionally, the landfill will remain closed on February 17 but will operate from Tuesday to Saturday between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The Household Hazardous Waste & Electronics Recycling Center will also be closed on the holiday but open from Tuesday to Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
