We ask a series of questions and print it in our newsletter that goes out to members of the chamber. Here is a snippet of their answers to our questions.
BACKGROUND AND HISTORY
Witthauer Financial Group started back in the mid-1960s by Herb Witthauer. In 1984, his son Paul Witthauer started in the business and they worked together until 2000 when Herb had to retire. Paul managed the business until January 2014 when his daughter Lindsey joined as an agent and in May 2016, his son Phillip joined the business. Paul’s wife Lynnette has been managing the office since 2011 and in 2021 we added 2 more staff members to our team. We started out primarily in the life insurance industry and have shifted to a rather large presence in health and Medicare.
WHAT SHOULD THE COMMUNITY KNOW ABOUT Witthauer Financial Group, THAT MAY BE BENEFICIAL TO THEM?
We offer a wide range of services ranging from health, life, long-term care, retirement, group benefits, financial planning. We are here for the long-term. We have 3 full-time agents and work heavily in the health insurance and Medicare market. We know about what is offered in our state and how things work financially and offer a free monthly Medicare 101 workshop that covers the ins and outs of Medicare. We want to continue to educate our community on other things as well because we think it is so important to know your options and solutions to different life events.
WHY THEY FEEL IT'S IMPORTANT TO BE A PART OF OUR LOCAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
Being a member of the local Chamber of Commerce is important because they are an organization that supports businesses. They want our community to succeed and if we as businesses want our business and community to succeed, then we need to support the organizations that support our businesses.
