Burleigh County ranked seventh in North Dakota for resident earnings in 2019

Burleigh County ranked seventh among counties in North Dakota by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Burleigh County residents was $40,277 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 39,507 households with a population of 94,793.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Williams County with $45,062 per year after adjusting for inflation – $4,785 more than Burleigh County. It had 14,320 households with a population of 35,208.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Sioux County with $21,213 per year after adjusting for inflation – $19,064 less than Burleigh County. It had 1,112 households with a population of 4,373.
