Census Bureau: More women than men in Bismarck in 2019

Of the 72,777 people living in Bismarck in 2019, 50.4 percent (36,685) were women and 49.6 percent (36,092) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Central ND News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 22,726-to-21,852. In the 65 and over age range, there were 7,147 females and 5,215 males.
