Cost of college went up for all students at the University of Mary

Tuition and fees rose 1.2 percent for 2018-19 at the University of Mary, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

North Dakota students paid $18,444 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $220 more than the $18,224 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 98 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 429 students received grants or scholarships totaling $4.9 million and 288 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.1 million.

Including all undergraduates (3,796), 1,865 students used grants or scholarships totaling $17.9 million, and 1,321 students took out $9.2 million in federal student loans.
