Cost of college went up for all students at the University of Jamestown

Tuition and fees rose 3.9 percent for 2018-19 at the University of Jamestown, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

North Dakota students paid $21,976 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $818 more than the $21,158 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 235 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.2 million and 165 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.2 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,089), 881 students used grants or scholarships totaling $11.7 million, and 570 students took out $3.8 million in federal student loans.
