78 percent of applicants to the University of Mary were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Mary, 82 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Bismarck enrolled 3,796 students in fall 2018, including 2,534 in undergraduate and 1,262 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

35 percent of undergraduates are residents of North Dakota, and 64 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (78 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (5 percent).

The school admitted 78 percent of the 1,303 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 52 percent enrolled.
