On November 2, 2025, Hoeven commemorated North Dakota’s anniversary of statehood. He wrote, "On November 2, 1889, North Dakota became the 39th state. As North Dakota celebrates 136 years, I’m proud to represent its people and call this great state home. Today and every day, we honor North Dakota’s heritage, landscapes, and resilient spirit."
The following day, on November 3, Hoeven recognized a local resident for national honors. He stated in a tweet: "Minot resident and Medal of Honor recipient Army Staff Sergeant Clint Romesha has been selected as one of the lead Grand Marshals representing the U.S. Army in the 2025 New York City Veterans Day Parade. In 2009, during a fierce day-long Taliban ambush, Romesha led a heroic".
