Temporary lane closures will begin October 20 for a project on North Dakota Highway 1806, located 11 miles south of Mandan. The work involves removing a bridge and constructing a new approach to the highway along the east side near mile marker 57. According to the North Dakota Department of Transportation, this activity will occur within the right of way and not directly on the highway.

During the project, the speed limit will be lowered in the work zone. Vehicles wider than 15 feet will not be permitted, and flaggers will be present to direct traffic as needed. The department anticipates only minimal delays for drivers.

"Minimum delays are expected," the North Dakota Department of Transportation stated.
