The City of Bismarck has announced that it will provide a free leaf collection service for residents during the weeks of October 20-23 and October 27-30. According to city officials, leaves will be picked up on residents' regularly scheduled garbage collection days.

Residents are instructed to place their leaves in either garbage containers with a maximum capacity of 32 gallons or in compostable paper bags. The containers or bags should be set out at the usual collection point by 6:00 am on the regular garbage day.

This service is available only for Bismarck residents, as part of the city's ongoing waste management and seasonal cleanup efforts.
