North Dakota Highway 17 in Grafton will be temporarily closed for railroad crossing maintenance starting Monday, October 6. The closure will take place near mile marker 127.9, close to the east junction of U.S. Highway 81, as Dakota Northern Railroad conducts necessary work.

A signed detour will guide motorists around the affected area. The maintenance is expected to be completed by Tuesday, October 7.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation has advised drivers to remain alert, follow the posted detour signs, and watch for possible traffic congestion during this period.
