Charlene Denning has been recognized as the City Star of the Month for her work at Bismarck Airport. Since joining the City of Bismarck in December 2022, Denning has served as an Accounting Tech, supporting airport operations in several ways.
Her responsibilities include greeting customers at the front desk, answering phone calls, assisting passengers, handling badging duties, processing commission request memos, managing accounts payable, entering purchase orders, and organizing credit card receipts.
Colleagues have noted that Denning frequently volunteers for additional tasks and is flexible with her schedule to help others. She is described as someone who improves the workplace environment through a positive attitude and engaging stories.
Greg Haug, Airport Director, said: “Charlene works independently and gets things done. She offers to jump in wherever she can and help out with work in the office. She has a pleasant demeanor and very good phone etiquette. Charlene works to resolve issues that come in from the flying public and is very helpful.”
Denning’s recognition highlights her contributions to both staff morale and airport operations.
