The Williams County Vector Control District (WCVCD) plans to carry out ground adulticide treatments in the City of Ray on Thursday, September 25, near sunset. The operation is dependent on weather and other conditions.
According to WCVCD, DeltaGard will be used for the treatment. Its active ingredient is Deltamethrin, which has been approved for use in residential areas. Residents are advised to keep at least 300 feet away from Vector Control trucks during fogging operations.
The district also encourages residents to take precautions against mosquito bites when outdoors between dusk and dawn.
