The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is organizing two public input meetings to discuss the state’s long-range transportation plan, known as Transportation Connection: 2025-2050. The meetings are scheduled for the week of September 8.
The first meeting will take place in Bismarck on Wednesday, September 10, from 3 to 6 p.m. Central Time at the Bismarck Art & Galleries Association, located at 422 E. Front Ave. The second meeting is set for Dickinson on Thursday, September 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. Mountain Time in the Community Room at the West River Community Center, 2004 Fairway St.
Both events will feature a recorded presentation shown multiple times and interactive activities for attendees. NDDOT representatives will be joined by staff from Cambridge Systematics and HDR Engineering, Inc., who will answer questions and discuss details about the plan.
Transportation Connection: 2025-2050 serves as North Dakota’s strategy for future transportation planning across the state. The department is seeking feedback from stakeholders and members of the public to help shape shared goals and strategies for statewide transportation.
Materials related to the project can be found on the official website at www.dot.nd.gov/transportation-connection.
For those unable to attend in person, written comments are being accepted until Monday, October 13. Comments should include “Public Input Meeting – Transportation Connection PCN 24421” in either the letter heading or email subject line and sent to dotplanning@nd.gov.
The NDDOT states it will consider all requests for reasonable accommodation to ensure accessibility at these meetings. Language interpretation and translation services are also available upon request.
