The Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) has scheduled a public hearing for August 25, 2025, at 10 a.m. to discuss proposed amendments to the Bismarck-Mandan 2025-2028 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The hearing will take place in the David Blackstead Meeting Room of the City/County Building at 221 N 5th St, Bismarck.

According to the MPO, "The purpose of the hearing is to provide an opportunity for public involvement in the review of a proposed new project to the TIP. The TIP includes federally funded metropolitan area transportation projects over a four-year time frame. The proposed amendment will be adopted by the MPO Policy Board, contingent upon no substantive change required due to public comments."

The TIP outlines transportation projects that receive federal funding within the metropolitan area and covers a four-year period. Public feedback gathered during this hearing may influence whether changes are made before final adoption by the MPO Policy Board.
