North Dakota Highway 11 is scheduled to close temporarily on Wednesday, August 6, near Geneseo at mile marker 147.7. The closure will allow for rail maintenance work at the Dakota Missouri Valley and Western Railroad crossing.
A signed detour will be available for drivers during the closure period. According to the North Dakota Department of Transportation, the maintenance is expected to be finished by the end of the week.
The department has advised motorists to remain attentive, follow posted detour signs, and watch for possible traffic congestion during this time.
