Rain restrictions imposed on Williams County roads after heavy rainfall

Sheriff Verlan Kvande Williams County (nd) | Sheriff Verlan Kvande Williams County

Effective immediately, as of 8 PM CST on July 25, 2025, all gravel and chip seal roads in Williams County within "Zones 4, 5 & 6" are restricted to a maximum weight of 20,000 lbs GVW due to recent rainfall. Permits approved for weights exceeding this limit are now void. The restriction will remain in place until further notice.

Road conditions will be reassessed throughout the weekend.
