Fatal motorcycle crash claims life on Highway 2 near Tioga

On Sunday, July 6, 2025, a fatal motorcycle crash occurred on Highway 2 near mile marker 58, approximately six miles west of Tioga. The incident took place at around 7:38 PM CDT.

The crash involved a rollover of a 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Timothy Hill, a 65-year-old resident of Williston. According to reports, Hill was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle. The motorcycle entered the median and rolled over.

Hill was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Emergency services transported him to Tioga Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol, Williams County Sheriff’s Office, and Ray Ambulance responded to the scene. Road and weather conditions were reported as good at the time of the accident.
