A fatal crash occurred on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at around 9:45 AM CT on 5th Ave NE, about three miles south of McClusky. The incident involved a rollover of a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado.
The vehicle was traveling south when it lost control, veered into the west ditch, and rolled over. Both the driver and passenger, both 33-year-old males from McClusky, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Neither individual was using restraints at the time of the crash.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident. Agencies that responded to the scene include the McClusky Fire Department, McClusky Ambulance, and Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office.
