The Minot Hot Tots secured a victory against the Bismarck Larks with an 8-4 win in their final regular season game on Monday night.
Henry Allen made a significant impact early in the game. In the top of the first inning, he hit a home run with a runner on base, sending the ball over the left field wall. This marked Allen's ninth home run of the season, placing him at the top of the Northwoods League for home runs. Reflecting on his performance, Allen stated, "It feels good. But we’re just halfway through the year, it doesn’t mean anything right now. I’m just trying to keep it up through the whole year."
Allen's contribution was pivotal in securing this win for the Hot Tots as they wrapped up their regular season.
