The Badlands Big Sticks secured a 3-0 victory against the Bismarck Larks on Thursday evening at Municipal Ballpark. The game saw Ryan Muizelaar hitting a home run off Luke Zimmer in the second inning. Both players have been teammates at the University of Jamestown for four years. Reflecting on his performance, Muizelaar commented, “Yeah, I enjoyed it a little more. I usually don’t take my time going down the first base line, but I enjoyed that one.”

The Big Sticks added to their lead in the seventh inning with strategic plays. Quade Peters initiated the inning with a base hit and proceeded to steal a base. He advanced to third on a ground ball before Matthew Dieguez hit a fly ball deep enough for Peters to score by tagging up from third.
