ATV driver seriously injured in collision with truck in Pettibone

A serious crash involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and a Dodge Ram 1500 occurred on June 20, 2025, at around 6:57 p.m. CT in Pettibone. The incident took place at the intersection of 3rd Avenue NW and 46th Avenue SE.

The ATV, a 2005 Honda TRX driven by Lorraine Wolf, 84, was traveling eastbound on 3rd Avenue NW. As it approached the intersection with 46th Avenue SE, which is controlled by a yield sign, it collided with a northbound Dodge Ram driven by Marvin Remmick, 85.

Wolf was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and sustained serious injuries. She was transported to Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck for treatment. Remmick was not injured despite being unrestrained.

The crash involved multiple response units including Pettibone & Robinson quick response units, Pettibone & Steele Fire and Rescue, Kidder County Ambulance, Metro Ambulance, Kidder County Sheriff’s Office, and Steele PD. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
