Head-on collision near Dickinson leaves driver seriously injured

A serious head-on collision occurred on June 15, 2025, at 10:16 am MT on Highway 10 near 102nd Ave SW, five miles east of Dickinson. The crash involved a westbound Dodge Ram 1500 and an eastbound Toyota Corolla.

The Dodge Ram was driven by Ryan Perhus, aged 49 from Marshall, who crossed the center line leading to the collision. Perhus was injured in the crash and it is under investigation whether he was wearing a seatbelt. Charges are still being investigated.

The Toyota Corolla was driven by Roseleigh Thomas, aged 27 from Dickinson. Thomas sustained serious injuries and was flown to Bismarck for treatment. Her two passengers were also taken to a local emergency room; one of them, Kyle Wandler, aged 34 from Dickinson, suffered injuries while a two-year-old male passenger was unharmed due to being properly restrained in a car seat. The use of seatbelts by Thomas and her passengers is still under investigation.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident with assistance from the Stark County Sheriff’s Office and Stark County Ambulance.
