Tyler Bishop played a key role in the St. Cloud Rox's victory over the Larks on Monday night. With one out and runners on second and third, Bishop hit a single into left field, driving in two runs.
In the ninth inning, the Larks attempted a comeback. Ryan Christiansen singled with one out to start their effort. A ground ball from Mark Giallusi seemed likely to end the game, but an offline throw by Rox shortstop Austin Haley kept it alive. With two outs, Julius Ryan had runners on first and third when a wild pitch brought the score to 2-1 and moved the tying run to second base. However, Julius Ryan's ground ball back to Austin Haley was handled cleanly this time, securing the win for the Rox.
