Sebastian Edwards pitched the 10th inning for the Larks. Bryce Ronken hit a grounder back to Edwards, who then made an errant throw to first base, allowing the Stingers to secure a 7-6 victory.
The Stingers initially took the lead but fell behind for most of the game. Larks' starting pitcher Sean Carey allowed three walks and two hits in the first inning, enabling the Stingers to gain a 4-0 advantage.
In response, the Larks rallied in their half of the first inning. Erick Dessens drew a walk with two outs, sparking a sequence that included five hits, another walk, and a hit by pitch. This offensive burst gave the Larks a 5-4 lead. Sydney Ward added another run with a solo home run in the second inning.
The Stingers managed to score runs in both the sixth and seventh innings to level the game before ultimately clinching it in extra innings.
