May has brought a significant win for a Powerball player in Jamestown, North Dakota. A ticket purchased at Hugo’s #9 matched four white balls and the Powerball in Wednesday night's draw, resulting in a $100,000 prize. The winning numbers were 1, 2, 3, 57, 59, with the Powerball being 9. The player had opted for the Power Play multiplier of 2, doubling their original $50,000 prize.

Hugo’s #9 will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The winner must claim their prize at the North Dakota Lottery office within 180 days of the draw.

Randy Miller, interim director of the North Dakota Lottery, commented on the recent wins: "As the temperatures are rising in North Dakota, so are the winnings for lottery players." He also noted other recent wins including a $60,000 Lotto America with All Star Bonus win and various other prizes since March.

The upcoming Powerball jackpot for Saturday's draw is estimated at $44 million. For more information and winning numbers, visit LOTTERY.ND.GOV.
