Motorcycle crash in Fargo results in one fatality

On May 7, 2025, a fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Main Avenue and 42nd Street South in Fargo. The incident involved a motorcycle and a motorhome, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reported that the crash happened at 3:57 PM under good road conditions and sunny weather. The vehicles involved were a 2008 ZXP Motorcycle driven by Christopher Bredemus, aged 34 from West Fargo, ND, and a 2013 Freightliner X-Line Motorhome driven by Donovan Flaagan, aged 86 from Grand Forks, ND.

According to authorities, the motorhome was traveling eastbound and attempting to make a left turn into a parking lot on the north side of Main Avenue when the motorcycle collided with its passenger side. The collision was described as T-bone style.

Christopher Bredemus sustained fatal injuries despite wearing a helmet. Donovan Flaagan was not injured in the crash and was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident. The crash is currently under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
