Pursuit leads to injury crash involving juveniles in Stutsman County

A pursuit and two-vehicle injury crash occurred in Stutsman County on May 11, 2025. The incident took place at approximately 7:50 a.m. CT at the intersection of I94, 10th Street, and 7th Avenue SE in Jamestown.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol, Jamestown Police Department, and Jamestown Area Ambulance responded to the scene. According to the report, a 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was involved in a T-bone collision with a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500.

The driver of the Chevrolet Monte Carlo was an 18-year-old male from Bismarck, ND. He sustained injuries and was using a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Charges against him include first offense fleeing, DUI-drugs; minor first offense, and reckless endangerment.

Three passengers were in the Chevrolet Monte Carlo: a 16-year-old male, a 14-year-old female, and a 15-year-old male. All were injured but were wearing seatbelts.

The driver of the GMC Sierra was a 30-year-old male from Jamestown, ND. He reported an injury for which he received treatment later. He was also using a seatbelt during the incident.

Weather conditions were reported as good at the time of the crash.
