Century Avenue in Bismarck, North Dakota, will undergo a road closure east of Stonewall Drive starting Wednesday, May 14, 2025. The closure is scheduled to commence after the start of the elementary school day to allow for roadway reconstruction.
Residents and commuters are advised to plan for changes in student pick-up and drop-off routines as the work is anticipated to extend over several months. Despite the closure, a north-south pedestrian crossing at Century Avenue and Roosevelt Drive will remain accessible.
"Please plan accordingly for subsequent student pick-up/drop-offs," officials stated regarding the upcoming changes.
