The Bismarck Historic Preservation Commission has announced its schedule of events for Historic Preservation Month in May. The city of Bismarck will host various celebrations throughout the month to honor its historical and cultural past.

Among the events are a month-long downtown display focusing on Bismarck's literary heritage, and the Bismarck Historical Society is holding a Founders Day trivia event on May 12. Johnathan Campbell, site supervisor, will host a presentation on the restoration of wallpaper at the Former Governors’ Mansion on May 14, and another on window reglazing at Camp Hancock on May 24.

The commission stated, “Whether you're a history enthusiast, a curious explorer, or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of our city's past, there's something for everyone to enjoy this May."

These events are open to the public free of charge. More details can be found at https://arcg.is/1WGzyG0 or by calling 701-355-1840.
