Senator John Hoeven expressed his thoughts following the Senate's approval of a budget resolution. This resolution is intended to guide the creation of reconciliation legislation aimed at delivering permanent tax relief, reducing national debt and deficit, and investing in critical areas such as national defense, border security, and domestic energy production.

"This budget is an important step in advancing the agenda laid out by President Trump, including tax relief, energy dominance as well as border security and national security. At the same time, it will help to cut waste, fraud and abuse while protecting Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid." Hoeven emphasized. He added, "We’ll continue working with our colleagues in the House and President Trump to advance these priorities for the American people and make our nation safer and more prosperous."
