Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library and Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health have joined forces to offer free Bug Kits to the community. The initiative aims to encourage outdoor activities such as hiking, dog walking, or park visits, highlighting outdoor physical activity's positive effects on mental health, physical fitness, stress reduction, and energy levels.

Starting Monday, April 7, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., community members of all ages can pick up a free Bug Kit at the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library's Children’s Library. The event is open to the public, and the media is welcome to attend.

Traci Juhala, Head of Youth Services at the library, can provide further information about the event. The library, situated at 515 North Fifth Street, Bismarck, ND 58501, encourages the public to connect via their media webpage or social media platform.

Kevin R. Tengesdal, the Public Information Specialist at the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library, sent the announcement.
