Starting April 1, 19th Street SE in Mandan will close temporarily from 43rd Ave SE to 46th Ave SE. The closure is to accommodate the installation of a new storm sewer system under the Memorial Highway Reconstruction project.

The closure is planned to last for three weeks, contingent on weather conditions. Drivers are advised to use Memorial Highway, 21st Street SE, or other alternative routes to avoid delays and keep traffic flowing smoothly in the area.

Following the completion of work on 19th Street SE, 21st Street SE will also close for further construction. This closure is anticipated to start around April 24 and continue for about a month. Further details will be communicated closer to that date.

Motorists should follow detour signs and exercise caution near the construction area.

Updates and further information can be found on the project website at dot.nd.gov/memorialhwy.
