Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak (R-ND) recently attended a meeting at the White House with President Donald Trump and her fellow freshman House Republicans. The discussion focused on key priorities for North Dakota and the nation, including energy resources and regulatory burdens.
“North Dakotans overwhelming voted for President Trump, and he has wasted no time in delivering results for our state and the nation. In just two months, we’ve seen action on securing the border, cutting millions in wasteful government spending, securing billions of dollars in investments into the U.S., bringing down costs for families, slashing burdensome regulations, and unleashing American energy—just to name a few accomplishments,” Fedorchak stated.
During her conversation with President Trump, Fedorchak extended an invitation for him to visit North Dakota this summer to meet with local farmers. She also expressed her appreciation for his appointment of former Governor Doug Burgum as Secretary of the Interior.
“It was an honor to join President Trump at the White House and share what matters most to North Dakotans—lowering costs, securing American energy, protecting jobs, and helping our farmers succeed. I’m proud to work with this administration and my House colleagues to advance our bold agenda to fix the direction of our country, fix long-ignored problems, and set us on a new course of strength and prosperity,” Fedorchak added.
Fedorchak remains dedicated to advocating for policies that benefit North Dakota's economy and its producers. Earlier this month, she met with leaders from the Office of the United States Trade Representative to discuss tariffs' effects on agriculture and energy industries in North Dakota.
