The Bismarck Fire Department responded to a grass fire on the northeast side of Bismarck on Wednesday evening. The incident took place at approximately 5:51 PM on March 19, 2025, when the department received a call about a grass fire located south of East Century Avenue.
Firefighters arrived at the scene by 5:55 PM and discovered smoke and flames spreading across a field covering roughly three acres. Both Bismarck City firefighters and Bismarck Rural firefighters worked together, using hose lines from three brush trucks to extinguish the blaze.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident. The fire was successfully contained within the three-acre area. However, the cause of the fire remains undetermined.
