Tickets for the 2025 Bismarck Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast are now available. The event is scheduled for May 20 at the Bismarck Radisson Hotel.
Options for purchasing tickets include single tickets priced at $25, half tables at $250, and full tables at $500. Proceeds from the event will support Crisis Care Chaplaincy (CCC).
“Crisis Care Chaplaincy provides a crucial need every day in our community for first responders and our citizens,” said Bismarck Mayor Mike Schmitz, who will serve as emcee for the event. “When an individual or group is faced with tragic circumstances, these chaplains help navigate grief and foster healing. I’m proud to further the fundraising tradition that helps ensure this wonderful organization remains a resource during those critical times of need.”
The speaker for this year’s event is Alan Dohrmann, who retired as Adjutant General last October after a military career spanning four decades. He assumed duties as Adjutant General in 2015, commanding over 4,100 North Dakota soldiers and airmen and supervising about 1,300 full-time federal and state employees. Dohrmann also served as Director of Emergency Services, overseeing the Division of Homeland Security and the Division of State Radio Communications. Currently, he is the Chief Operating Officer for the North Dakota Governor’s Office.
“Alan Dohrmann has been an important figure in the stability of Bismarck and North Dakota throughout his career,” said CCC Chaplain Greg Carr. “He has helped respond to a number of large-scale events and has throughout his responses he has taught the lessons of community, selflessness and thoughtfulness. Alan has led an interesting career, and we are excited to have him speak during the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast.”
Those interested in attending can RSVP by contacting Travis Rau at (701) 355-1894 by Tuesday, May 6 or register online through Eventbrite.
On May 20th, doors will open at 7 AM with the prayer breakfast running from 7:15 to 8:30 AM at Bismarck's Radisson Hotel located at 605 East Broadway Avenue.
