Senator John Hoeven has announced the Senate's confirmation of Jamieson Greer as the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR). In a statement, Hoeven highlighted Greer's previous service in the U.S. Air Force and his role as chief of staff to the U.S. Trade Representative during President Trump's first administration.

Hoeven emphasized Greer's understanding of the need to expand market access for U.S. producers, particularly in agriculture. "USTR Greer will play an important role as the Trump administration works to secure better, long-term trade agreements on behalf of U.S. producers," Hoeven stated.

Greer's confirmation is seen as a step towards advancing trade negotiations that benefit American industries and agriculture.
